A Drinking Game NYC Presents: The Goonies

Union Hall, 702 Union Street, Brooklyn

After a long day at work, we’d take any opportunity to go hunt for pirate treasure in Oregon. That’s why we’re headed straight to this Goonies-themed drinking game. A group of actors will perform the movie live, then every time one of them says a buzzword or phrase, a bell will ring, cueing the audience to down some booze. Also, when anyone in the cast says a name, the actor playing said character must drink, too. “Sloth love Chunk!” — and everyone must drink.

Sidra House Rules

Building on Bond, 112 Bond Street, Brooklyn

Nope, we’re not talkin’ about Michael Caine and Tobey Maguire here. We’re talkin’ about unlimited cider from some of the world’s best producers — and, yes, it rules. The Building on Bond hosts a full night of tastings and tapas included with each $25 admission. They’ll open the barrel at 6 p.m. and folks can drink to their heart’s content...or until the barrel is empty. (Should that happen, you can fill any void in your heart by watching the original Cider House Rules as soon as you get home.)
